HOW CHURCH

INITIATIVE

CAN HELP

Our support group programs make it easy for your church to help hurting people in your community—while adhering to social-distancing guidelines.

Unable to meet at your church?

Online groups are now available

Social distancing doesn’t have to prevent you from helping grieving and divorced people in your community. Simply purchase a kit and you'll have everything you need to offer online groups—at no additional cost.

Volunteers don’t need to be counseling experts to lead our support group programs. The weekly session videos instruct the group for them. Plus, your volunteers can get advice from thousands of other leaders on our online LeaderZone.

Video-based, expert teaching

Hesitant volunteers?

Our program kits come with video, online, and print training materials. And all lay leaders have free phone and email access to a personal ministry coach.

Complete training provided

Lack of trained leaders?

The 13-week program cycle enables volunteers to sign up for a defined amount of time. So they know when their service begins and when it ends.

COVID-19 Pastoral Care Assessment

Maintaining contact is especially important during the COVID-19 pandemic. And yet, the uncertainties of the pandemic, along with the many complications it has produced, make it difficult to know how to reach out to your congregation. To help you, we’ve created a set of questions to use as a general framework for checking on members of your congregation.
